some spammers take the time to pay some poor shoeless child .01 per registration (or something pathetic like that)....those 'real person' spammers are what get thru the forum 'defenses' now and get banned by the SMods and me

The 'autobot' spammers are set up to recognize standard forum registration information and automatically register. Even the email confirmation can be automized. Adding that one silly question stops those autobots.
