I just wanted to throw this in there as information and to see what options are out there. I just purchased a RTT from Phoenix, AZ and had it shipped freight to Greensboro, NC using Old Dominion Freight lines and it cost me $358 and took 4 days. It arrived in great shape, but i felt it was a little too expensive. They quoted me $275 and when the freight was ready to be picked up they said it weighed heavier then i quoted them (which i don't know who's mistake that was but i felt that i told them within 25 lbs what the weigh was) and it hung over the pallet on each side by 3 inches more then what they quoted me.

They also automatically ensure the package for $2500 with no additional insurance, so that was a good thing. But, keep this in mind, if they have to actually lower the lift gate on the tractor trailer and drop it into a parking lot that's an extra $60 charge :bang: So, i had them deliver it to their freight terminal and i just picked it up right off the dock

So, with that said, that should give a ruff idea of freight costs for these pigs.

Man, you spent more in shipping than my rooftop tent cot cost. What kind did you get? I salivate over those roomy beasts.

Got my rtt from bass pro 899. Shipping was under 100. To my door just had to meet the driver to help unload.

I was charged 125 dollars for something weighing 400 lbs +...and 6' long x 3' H x 2' W....YRC trucking...you got banged hard. That was from Wisconsin to NY

My price was from terminal to terminal though.

Both my RTT's came to my residence for $125

Yea, i wasn't too pleased about it. I did get a screaming deal on a tent, but yowzars!

I picked up the campa RTT that was for sale here in the for sale section a month ago.
