RTH. Wiring aftermarket fog lights

So I replaced the factory front bumper with an aftermarket which bumper from Trail Tailor. And I'm trying to wire the aftermarket fog lights I tapped into the factory fog light harness but can't get any power. I have checked the fuse ..no issues there. I have unplugged the factory harness a couple of times and plugged it back in ...not sure what to think?

FYI I cut off the factory fog light plug and then simply attached male female terminals

Sometimes it's easy to overlook the simple things... maybe make sure that your brights aren't turned on because that cuts power to the fogs?

You sir @indycole are a great American! I had accidentally hit the brights..I turned the brights off and Wallah the fog lights now have power !!!thank you thank you thank you!!!
