Noticed a little bit of rear lean and discovered previous owner installed ‘a’ side spring on driver side.

Question is can I remove lower shock bolt (and strain-relieve brake lines) and allow rear end to droop and do the spring swap w/o fiddling with kdss bolts?

I feel your pain! Had the same thing happen to my truck. I detached the sway bar on the passenger side of the axle only. It allowed me just enough additional droop to manipulate the axle and remove the springs. Bolting it back was very easy.
