rough idle

2004 Landcruiser, 165700 miles with a rough idle which is worse when vehicle is in drive and when air conditioning unit cycles on vibration and idle get worse. New plugs and throttle body cleaned, the vibration is only at idle as soon as a little throttle is given it disappears, any ideas?

How long ago did you change your plugs and clean the TB?

Mass Airflow Sensors sometimes require replacement even if you've cleaned it with the appropriate cleaner.

Throttle body has been removed by dealer and cleaned, also new denso plugs recent.

It maybe that your engine mounts are worn out causing you to feel the motor vibration more while the transmission is engaged.

I have this too. Made the same changes as you did. Seems to come and go.
172k prior mall cruiser if that matters. No CEL's, ran the codes anyway and nothing. No roughness with AC on as the stepper motor picks up the idle. Idles around 600; 700 when AC on.

Guess I'll do the motor mounts and trans mount?

Recently I've noticed the A/C cycling oddly, followed with vibrations through the chassis. I've discovered my fan clutch to be going on the fritz.
