I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but I want to pass along my weeks of trying to fix my idle.

Stats: 22re

Symptoms: lopes, rough when warm, revs when brakes applies then drops in rpm and repeats.

Solution:

I replaced plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air filter, fuel filter, sea foamed, checked booster, Pcv, checked every vacuum hose, and the answer was....

Auxiliary air valve, iacv to some.

Mark your hoses, I used a silver sharpie instead of the ol tape and pen and it worked great and saved time. Remove tb, remove aav and clean every port every way with cleaner, compressed air, and give it a soak! Be careful with your tps if you're gonna soak. Bolted it back up, refilled the radiator (you're gonna lose some fluid since the aav has coolant flowing through it) and she was good to go. Still going to do some minor tinkering, the idle had been adjusted too high which can also hide the real problem and create others.

Any questions please comment. There are thousands of these threads out there, but I used a little bit of each to systematically tackle the problem.

That's a pretty tricky part to replace.. but glad it solved your issues.

I've got a spare floating around, just in the event mine starts going.
