Rough Engine no CEL codes (1 Viewer)

Hi Team:

I've been battling this one for a while with no luck.

I have a 93 FZJ80 that's experiencing a pretty rough idle and distinct engine vibrations at highway speeds. The CEL isn't on and no codes are being thrown after jumping the diagnostic terminal. It also feels like i'm down some power, so I replaced the spark plug cables and spark plugs thinking I'm down a cylinder. That didn't help. I've also changed the PCV hoses and valve since those were way past due. Next weekend I'll do a compression test on each cylinder, but beyond that I'm out of ideas.

Anyone else ever have similar symptoms or thoughts on things to check? Thanks in advance for the read.

Oh and PS- a week or so before the engine problems started, I did have a new to me torque converter installed as I somehow managed to break the input shaft on mine (still scratching head on that one).
