How does the LX600’s brake rotors and pads hold up? I know the rear pads on my LC200 lasted about 40k since it’s so heavy. Never have replaced the rotors yet at 60k in LC.

40k miles and haven't had to replace yet. Getting a service soon, will update if any problems.
Well the vehicle is lighter than the previous gen so theoretically it should last longer. Also, brake longevity (in general) has a lot to do with driving habits (city vs highway, chilled ve aggressive).
Leaving that aside, my driving habits is a mix of all, I drive daily and I owned the for more than a year. I would expect them to last +40mlies as im nearly there
In the middle east, we have a habit of installing Tundra/Sequoia pads on LC200 as these are US made OEM imports and have much better longevity.. not sure what kind of pads you get in the US, it will be interesting if you can retrofit the new Tundra ones in your lx600 and see if they any good

I've got 27k mikes on '23 LX600. Took it in for service today and they said my rear brakes were at 3mm (10mm when new) and were recommending new pads on the rear for $600.

The brakes are way undersized for a vehicle this large. The rx500h has bigger brakes than the lx go figure. Atleast have bigger brake options for f sport versions! For comparison the qx80 brakes are absolutely dinky. There are brembo brake options for this and one other s African company I cant think of name at moment.
Just had my 30k mile service. They are recommending new pads and rotors on my rear brakes for $1,000 now. Still have 3mm on the rear pads and 8 on the front, which seems odd. The fronts should wear faster than the rear.

The brakes on the LX700h are the same as the Tundra. Agreed they aren't huge but I'm pretty sure the rx500h 6 piston would mean no 18" and 17" wheels. My last car was a Cayenne GTS...HUGE brakes, race car. But it screwed me when I wanted winter tires. Goofy offsets, 20 inch only wheels...
The rx500h brakes put this to shame. Lexus could of offered big brakes for the 22 inch wheel versions no excuse
Yes, they could but I am glad the standard is the smaller caliper that easily fits 18s. After all this is still the 300 LC (especially in the OT version) so it needed to be offroad biased and nothing hurts more offroad than those ginormous wheels.
Take Land Rover and the Defender for example. They went with those big ass calipers in all of their engine options, except for the anemic 4 banger (which I think is now discontinued) and could not fit anything smaller than 20 inch wheels, which, as we all know, are a joke to go offroading. Don't give you any meaningful sidewall. Defender owners were left with the non-OEM solution of having to go grind the calipers to be able to fit 18s. A less-than-ideal solution IMO.
Lexus could offer an "upgraded-brakes" option for the F-sport I guess, but it was the right call to make 18-wheel calipers standard.
