Roofrack - Paint or Powdercoat?

I have an African Outback rack on my 80 that is currently a grey color but I'd really like it to be black to match the rest of the accessories on my truck.. Is painting it or sandblasting and powder coating it the way to go? I'm looking for a hard wearing finish so am kind of leaning towards PC right now but thought I'd get a few opinions before I get it done..

Trock, the longest lasting for wear and sun fading.. PC is the way I'd go.
