Sorry to revive the dead but I was wondering about your CVT tent, i inherited mine from the PO. Mine doesn't seem to open flat, is your doing the same or is it just the slop your on? Also I had to remove mine for the winder because it kept getting wet inside, the plastic cover doesn't seem to be leaking so it's either the zippers or the fabric under the zipper. Quite annoying.I got my CVT Shasta on the OEM 4 post rack but it squeaks quite a bit. Thoughts?

I had my bars mounted across the roof instead of front to back and the tent would hit the rail that was hanging over. As it, the bar was preventing it from fully opening. If you cut the bar to be flush with the base, you wouldn't have that problem.
