I am replacing the weather stripping for the roof rails channel and a good amount of the clips pulled off when I removed the old one. What adhesive should I be looking at to stick them back on? Thank you guys

You probably want new clips. You can’t really repair broken ones.

I’m a big fan of Sikaflex NP-1. It’s a commercial grade polyurethane adhesive, medium body, cures flexible, cheap. It can tolerate extreme heat and cold without failing. Good general purpose stuff, can be used as seam sealer too.

3M VHB tape is fantastic with good prep. less messy than adhesive if you have the right surface area. Get the right kind.

I avoid RTV/silicone.

Thank you, I will check those out. The people who replaced the windshield before I bought it used silicone so I am all too familiar with what it will do. Luckily I caught it before it became a huge problem.
