looking for a quick measurement for roll bar placement. I have a 73 FJ-40 which I plan to run a top on during the winter, and no top in summer. Planning to install a roll bar with a typical smittybilt rear section, and a windshield cage in front with the connector tubes tieng in to the rear section. Im sure we have all seen this. I need a measurement from either the top of the windshield frame down to the top of the bar, or from the floor mounting plate to the top of the bar. My main issue is to have it fit with the top on. Before I start chopping away on them , just to make sure my layout is correct.
The top is currently off, so I cant measure that, and I forgot to take measurements BEFORE I took it off.
