I am finally Doing the Metal Tech thing. I would like to sell my present roll cage. The cage consist of the stock roll bar with the front add on cage from TPI. There is an additional bar that was added between the stock hoop from side to side for added strength. $200 takes it. Bolt it in and your ready. I will deliver and help install locally.

Jeff,

Good buy on the MTCage.

Jeff Davis, William Gates - One of you guys needs this cage. You couldn't buy the metal for $200!!

Yeah, I got the Jackson Cage. It's being shipped with Chris and Heaths stuff. John Mills might be buying mine.

Did Chris & Heath get some 80 series stuff??

I forgot about John. Your cage would be perfect for FrankenCruiser.

Happy Snow Day!

Metal Tech sliders I think.

Righto Jeffro!

Heath needs a set for his expedition in March.

I need them because I want Greg to think I'm cool.

We all know Debbie wants to wheel the 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sliders = Good

Greg thinking you're cool is just a bonus, but highly unlikely. Heh Heh Heeee

Jeff,

Can you post some pics? The cage might work on my 40, but I need to see how they mount. I can't remember since the crawl.

Also, do you have any blue FJ40 shirts? Mark only has black or green...if those aren't already gone...

Thanks,
Howard

Spent all day at Choctaw's house installing the Metal Tech chage. Gonna look good after it gets some paint. That thing is a bitch to get out once you tack it all together! We had to use a ratchet strap and it finally came out. Should be fun putting it back in too!

fotos?

We were too busy grinding, notching, welding and of course drinking beer to take pics. You'll see it soon.

What took so long were the car show quality welds that you made Choctaw do so the "Pretty Truck" would have pretty welds.

Glad you got it in and glad Choctaw was able to perform one more Metal Tech cage install before he retired.

I guess I need to get him to sign my truck, being he is a legend and all...

I think Choctaw refered to some of his welds as "chicken poo poo" welds. I know they will hold because we had to grind 2 pieces out, move and re weld. PITA!!!!

I know his welds are good! Guess how I know!!!

Keep it up James!

James has officially retired from welding cages. He's getting old! He moans and groans when he stoops down and stands up. I'm just glad I got in on the final job. I guess I need to buy him something as a small token of my appreciation.
