Rocker Panels

Would anyone be able to post a side view picture of a 70 series rocker panels. I'm wondering what they're supposed to look like? Do they start out one shape at the front, and then change?

I'm looking at these two pictures, and how they change:

Okay, I think I see how it works... it follows the body line from the bottom crease in the front fender all the way across to the back.

I remember my 70 looking like that on the one rocker, I just assumed the PO crunched a rock or something

If you like your cruiser I would spray the seams and the underside with a rust inhibitor ie diesel and ATF. to make it last

Ya, looks like this rocker has been pushed in. It was a lot more obvious when I looked at a side view picture of the rocker.

The underside definitely needs some rust prevention to keep it from getting worse. I'm surprised it isn't in a lot worse condition. I haven't actually picked up this 70 yet.

get it Krowned once a year (or since you're in alberta maybe once every two years)

Krown is far better than any other oil spray, and most times the people that apply it are professionals that know every little spot to shoot oil into...

I also like rust check...
