Rock Crawler RC (1 Viewer)

hey guys
during the Tech Day several of you brought rock crawlers and I think that would make a good gift for my son's upcoming birthday (I might use it once in a while also)
checking online I saw a bunch, going from $40 to several hundreds. Anyone you can recommend? Especially if is not too expensive...

You can get them used for a whole lot less. Just like getting a used vehicle. I picked mine up for $225, which was probably what just the upgrades had cost.

But unless your kid knows rc, a used rc will frustrate.

Kids need mountain bikes, not RC cars.

I ride bikes and totally into RC. I really think RC , especially the kit versions, are great for kids as they have to build them and fix them if they break something.
Yes, but expensive for sure. I picked up my fj60 for 1250...I have an onroad 1/8th scale nitro that costs more than that!!! WTF!?!?

I found a lightning deal on Amazon on early december and got a redcat everest for $100.
Not the greatest RC crawler, but more than enough to start with, and fully customizable.
