Hello! This is my first thread ever. I might be posting this in the wrong area. I have a 1997 lx450 this is my first land cruiser. I recently started noticing a roaring noise at highway speeds when I come off the accelerator. Everything is greased. Sounds like its coming from the front. Tried to put a go pro under there but it was too noise to track anything down. Attached is a video of me under the lc checking for play. I don't know how much is too much for a 30 year old car. Thank you for your time!

Roar? Or growl?

A vibration and growling noise when you deceleration is usually a sign of bad uni joints.

Rocking shafts back and forth doesn't tell you much. Looks like you're seeing pretty typical drive line backlash.

You can't really get a good gauge on the uni joint condition unless you remove driveshafts from the truck.
With driveshafts out of the truck, you should be able to road the uni joints freely through a full range of movement in every direction. If they are stiff, or sticky, or notchy, they are done.
Replace with genuine uni joints or matsuba (about the only oem equivalent)
