Road Trip Advice? Reno NV to Hayden Lake ID

Just like the title says, I'm flying to Reno tomorrow and picking up a 1989 FJ62 and drive it to Hayden Lake ID with a stop along the way in Grangeville ID. I'm not in a huge hurry. Will probably take 2 full days to make the 800 miles. I like the Scenic route. Tell me your points of interest or favorite routes.
