Hi all,

I have recently acquired a 86' RJ70, the 22R engine in it is about to retire.

I am thinking to put a 14B Non-turbo in in.

Will use a 5-Spd 3B gearbox.

Can someone with knowledge and experience to educate me if I need to fabricate a pair if new engine mounts and gearbox cross member?

Are there any parts that can be recycled?

Thanks!!!

Probably not much in the engine bay you could reuse. Air cleaner and not much else really. Depending on what pump is on the 14b you can just use the power wire from the coil to power up the pump. Will need an alternator with a vac pump or an electric pump if the 14b doesn't have a gear driven one. You'll need heavier springs on the front as well, b motors would be a fair bit heavier than a 22r
