Hi guys,

im looking to preform a service on my petrol 22r Bundera. I havent done it before and would like to follow a manual if possible. I know the basics but would like to avoid missing a grease nipple or something simple like that.

I have the toyota manuals for both the engine and chassis however they dont say how to preform a service.

So does anyone know where i can either download a how to service manual or buy one. All i can find are diesel manuals

Cheers

What type of service? Just want to lube everything? i think the only grease nipples are on the driveshaft u joints and slip joints front and rear. the stock tie rod ends arent greasable. if youre doing the wheel bearings, you need new dust seals for each side for both the inner and outer bearings. And watch the hub brushes if disassembling the hub. stick a wire through the little hole to retain them or your hub will be fooked. good info on your application here on the forum. just do a search.

I ended up buying a Haynes toyota pick up and 4 runner repair manual. (manual #92075 (656)) Frames are different, but lot of mechanical components are the same as RJ 70. Covers the 22 R engine very well. Same for axels. You bassicly have a pick up or 4 runner running gear with a landcruiser body.

Ronald.
