Good times.

The savior of the trek was William and Big Red w/winch, as seen in the pix. If he charged $50 per yank, he'd have come home with enough money for a new set of tires or a couple hours at Danny's Downtown. You do the math.

Jes was smart enough to don his Wellingtons and did an excellent performance as winch b*tch, although I think he ran out of beer and lost focus towards the end.

The Jeep guys were cool, too- Billy's Cherokee walked through the slop quite well. The other dude left his Yukon at the rendezvous point, which proved to be a good idea.

Barry learned that speed and momentum is your friend. Low range/1st is too slow when entering deep ruts and areas where the chance of getting high-centered is high.

We found some pretty decent trails down by the ___________ and there's a good entrance just south of ________ that Barry and the boys scouted out.

Again, good times. Enjoy the pics. Thanks for having me along.

May try some different trails. The worst is what I was stuck in. The ruts were too deep for my lift/tires. I should have approached it more carefully. Got over confident after breezing through all the other spots.

What time for next wknd?

I was impressed by your Jeeps capabilities. Lets go again soon.

Thanks! Same here, first time for me seeing Cruisers in action.

Same meeting time, same meeting place?

i can't make it this weekend either....grandma's 90th birthday party...

ya'll find us some trails!

question for Jes

Jes,

When I was stuck and you were attaching the winch cable to my truck last sunday, you said the wierd noise we heard was the power steering pump due to the heat. Well, its still making that noise. Does that mean its on its way out? I'm driving to the Ozarks over thanksgiving break. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and replace it b4hand.

Your thoughts?

Stay out of the mud.

Sunday 2pm....I want to have a little more riding time.

Be there...SUNDAY.

I'm going to have to miss this one too. If I didn't have so many bills, I would quit the whole working thing.
