Wife had a bad moment while driving my 200 last week and now I'm in the market for a replacement. Anyone have one in their area (or garage) that's under 100K, nicely loaded, and rust-free? Happy to travel for the right vehicle. This was supposed to be my forever car (okay, one of them).

Ouch! Hope everyone was okay.

Hope your wife (and anyone else who was with her) are all okay.

What's your budget? I was building a Google Spreadsheet with 2018+ LCs and LX570s with less than 60k miles and have a few that still appear to be vehicle. Two LCs:
  1. 2019 Black/Black with 32k for $86k -- 1-Owner Car, Clean CARFAX, Registered in NC its life with estimated 5k miles per year
  2. 2018 Grey/Black with 36k for $77k -- No CARFAX on the Dealer Site and it's in Massachusetts (so maybe more rust-risk)
Cars.com search gives 16 results if I limit it to 2018 to 2021 cars under 80k miles with no reported accidents; few cars in the $70k range with those search parameters. This 2019 jumped out (1-owner, Silver/Black car with 67k registered in Texas for $70k), just not being sold through an OEM-affiliated dealer.

Wife is good, no injuries.
I'm willing to go to $90K for a really good specimen. Ironically, there's a 2021 LC HE 15 mins from my house that's in great condition, but the dealer has insane illusions about its desirability, pricing it at a firm $139K.

I would personally avoid HE's because the market is just ridiculous right now.

$90k should get you a 30,000 mile or less 2019+ model in good condition. The NC example posted above isn't bad but feels a little rich for a 2019 and North Carolina is on the border of what I'd consider a Southern truck because of salted roads (would hold out for Southwest or SoCal at your budget, ideally).

I took a closer look at the NC vehicle. It looks like they didn't even wash the car before taking those pics. And I think you're right about that salt boundary. From the wheelwell pics, it definitely looks like it's seen some salt. The tires also look ready to be replaced.

I did look at those for a minute. I'm not thrilled with the added complexity of a twin turbo. Half the advantage of a 200 LC is that big creamy V8. Plus I already own a GX, so there's not much differentiation between the two Lexi.

LX 570...not the 600. The 570 is the Lexus version of your dearly departed with the 5.7.

They are cheaper too because it's not a "lAnD cRuiZer"

The only major difference is the AHC suspension in the LX
I'm not in love with finding myself in the 21" wheel world, however.

Got another Erik Sarjeant Special

$100k for a 60,000 mile LC200 the world has gone crazy.

Even crazier because that’s below market.

Like all of us, I wish I had bought 5 HE's when they were below sticker. Too bad.

Here’s my 2 cents:
Use cargurus. Check it daily. Set alerts.
Be patient but ready to jump on a deal. Right now lots of 16-18 trucks are for sale even in so called, it’s the 19-21’s that go quickly.
Also check FB marketplace. Lots of dealers use it. Set alerts.

If you have the means hire a broker who has access to dealer back end and/or manheim auto auctions.

Also total preference but if you want a color besides boring old black/white/grey/silver, brandywine was discontinued in 19 and blue onyx pearl in 20. Otherwise by an LX, they had great colors.
