Rims for HZJ78

OK, this is my first posting and really a long shot but perhaps someone out there have some knowledge to share.

Do Procomp rims 8069 & 1069 fit my HZJ78? They are both 8x16, 5/150, 4” backspacing, -11mm offset. Reason for asking is that I have heard that several rims that suits Landcruiser 100 does not fit the series 70 with the new 5/150 bolt pattern. The brake (calipers?) in the front comes in contact with the rim.

This new bolt pattern sucks. I have lots of rims with the old 6 lug pattern that I have used on my 4Runner.
There are very few rims with the new pattern available here in Sweden so I am planning to buy these from the US and that’s why it would be very good to know if they really fit. And I want 8" to be able to run 315 or 285 / 75 x16...

Hi Anders, I am in the same situation, I have a 2004 HZJ79 and want wider rims. I was just going to have my rims cut and have a band welded in to make them wider - they do that here for drag racing rims.

I do no know what the backspacing is on our newer 5 bolt patterns - did you try outerlimits4x4x.com?

the backspacing on my LJ78 is 3.75 inches, and I had to put spacers on to get tacoma rims (4.25 inch backspacing I think) to fit past the calipers.

But I am still not sure if 4 inch backspacing will fit...
