They sell shock extension brackets for the 100 as mentioned in another thread. I'm not sure if they are for just the rear or both front and rear. I'm guessing the suspension will get more droop with the sacrifice of some compression. The bumpstops will probably need to be lowered. By how much? One would have to put it on a ramp to find out.

CTapia, the eBay wheels that you are interested in are knock-offs, copies of the Toyota wheel. Whether they carry the Japanese saftey certifications, I do not know. The wheels don't come with centercaps and you might have some trouble finding a matching set in that color.

305's will definitely work on the stock wheel size.

I guess I was more referring if they would work on the stock suspension without major rubbing. From what I recall, Macneill is running 305 MTRs but he's running the 2" OME suspension.
Regarding the wheels, Interesting note regarding the safety certification. From E9999 post, I should be more concern about them actually fitting my 04.
Ok, here's my game plan.... I'll drive around and pull over the first LC/LX that I see with 16" wheels and do a test fit! LOL!!!

Ben at Slee told me that the 80 rear L-shocks should fit the 100 too. You'd just need to swap the bushings. I haven't tried it yet. SOMEONE SHOULD THOUGH! Who's up to it? ;)

L-shocks sure help the 80 and they'll help the 100 too. Come on OME, WHERE ARE THEY!?!?!?!?!?! :mad: :mad:

I suspect the reason why Macneil tires rub is because MT/R's have a more "squared off" shoulder than most AT tires. When they state "305," it is the section width and not the tread width. His tires are rubbing on the plastic flaps near the exhaust manifold.

Many vehicles have adjustable stops to limit the steering travel--This could eliminate the rubbing. Another option is to use wheel spacers up front. That'll bring the tire away from the inside plastic guard a little bit. It's good idea anyway since we lose track width up front when we raise the suspension.

Adjusting these on the 100 is a must when running 315's. Otherwise you'll rub the upper control arm in the front. Easy. 5 minute job for both sides.

As for the diff drop... yes, if raise your ride height by 2" either by using taller springs or tricking your AHC, you should install the drop bracket. In either case, your CV joints will be seeing greater angularity.

A few more questions have come to mind... so I was to leave the factory AHC system stock (no black box) but install OME springs would I end with 4" lift if the AHC was placed on high mode? and if so would my CV joints would be unhappy?
Sorry, I'm still trying to understand how the OME would impact the AHC system.

CTapia--do a search for Siglo, that is exactly what he did. But he has much more weight than stock. Your CV joints would be very unhappy with lift over 2 inches w/o a diff drop bracket. You should be able to lift an additional .5-.75" with the drop bracket.
