A few days early and its my turn...

Nearly finished with my sas conversion on my truck. It has been rebuilt a few times... I will try to tell its story here...

This is how it looked like when i bought it. My original plan was just putting on some 31s with new rims and new suspension. Bought ht progressive coils with 30mm lift and monroe expedition shocks. Got me some Hercules crappy all terrains...

Then I met a new friend of mine who told med about a offroading club in town and that one requirement to be apart of the best driving was mud tires. So I made up a bogus complaint on the tires and managed to trade them into 35" mudzillas on 10" rims instead. Was supposed to buy 33s, but when I thought 35s would be better... Just had to cut more...

Here it is with mudzilla 35z. Just cut and 30mm spring lift rear. The tires looks good, but dont work well...

Later I got med some bushwacker cut-outs for hilux, and adapted them for my runner... It looked quite nice. Replaced the smittybuilt with stock bumper and a cobra bullbar.

Got rid of my 35s after a small case of the 2" sickness... :D Bought me some 37s, goodyear mtr. Also sold the bushwackers and got som icelandic flares. Changed to fakelock rims too...

Had to add a 2" bodylift, which I actually removed yesterday...

Looks good??? It was a very nice ride...

At this time I also had mounted a few reinforcements of both the steering and the ifs. I had installed an aussielocker in the rear.

more pix...

Did some more modifications, installed an intercooler, 3" exhaust, adjusted wastegate, installed a cb-radio, and lots more... free-wheel hubs from aisin.

The engine is the 2lt-II diesel...

Changed into a new bullbar, this one is for a suzuki grand vitara. Heres a picture with the tabor 9k winch mounted. There is a home made multimount beneath.

Heres also the welded tubes for the intercooler.

And last, added a spacer for my rear suspension.

I ordered a detroit truetrack for my ifs front diff and was only going to get it installed when we found a chipped tooth on the gears and had to replace them. Bought 5:29s from a friend who werent going to use them...

I was very happy once the bill was payed... and the gears tested, it worked very very very well. Much better control when I was wheeling it...
