can you open up december for someone else... I no longer have a 45 :(

I dont think that no longer having it should disqualify you. You still have their story to tell. And maybe the new owner will chime in with progress made by then.

disqualify - I've looked it up. I will keep it only if someone isn't biting at the bit to boast about their bad ass cruiser. I do have a story....... long and would like to share it... but dont want to bore anyone. I've had 4 FJ45lv's and 1 LPB. If others can agree with your theory, then I would be happy to share my experience, if not... NEXT!!

easy act to follow

besides, you wll be following me in November, and at the rate I am making progress this hot Phoenix summer, I may not have much to report. I thought I would have driver by then, but it might not make it that far in the resto by November...

want to trade?

Okay, I was/am signed up for November, but here it is September 1, and there isno way I am going to make it to a drivable rig by November. I would much rather wait and post when I have something beautiful, than while it is still currently torn to bits prepping for paint.

Anybody want to take my November slot, and I will re-up for late spring?

Torn to bits is the best way to start the story.

In my mind it does not have to be driveable. Then again my better half said my mind is still in another country, but that is a story better told around old vets.

Would anyone like to Take December? I no longer have a 45. If not... I'll slap something together in about a day or so.

45 of the month etc...

Thought I would make an apearance and add my 78 fj45. https://forum.ih8mud.com/attachment...nt.php?attachmentid=564336&stc=1&d=1318629376

Rebuilt from a galvanized frame up, suspension correction kit, reupholstered split bucket heated seats. Roll bar, fold down jump seats, exnay on the 2f and transplanted a B motor with 5speed. turbo to come later.
Paint is all original from Canadian tire undercoat spray can.

Aloha, I just finished reading your" soapbox and stories. I loved it. Another kindred spirit. I believe I bought some parts from you about 6 years ago when I buillt my 73' FJ40. I am beginning to look at my 67' FJ45 with longing and planning in mind. My most immediate needs are for a fuel tank that ethanol and rust has not killed. I have a poly tank in my 73' and hate it. It has leaked or filled my rig with fuel vapor ever since I put it in. Any good ideas? I have a 5 gal. marine fuel tank in the 45's bed with no return as a temp. stopgap. The 45 is a spring over, 350 v-8 with a 71' 3 on the floor on 33s. I love it but the rust has made it a midnight runner only. soon to be revived for hard service. Thanks, Capt. Bryan.
