RHD Clutch Master/Slave Cylinders?

As usual...it always happens just before you try and leave....

Heading to Mexico on Sunday, and the Clutch Master cylinder on the Troopy is weaping....

So...I've got CDan overnighting me a US OEM Master/Slave cylinders....

Specter lists a non USA and a US version

I'm going nuts without a parts list...

Anyone know if these are the same?

did you check the EPC? i would bet that they are the same parts though...

I haven't been able to find the EPC for OZ spec rigs. Dan only has the US spec parts books....


OK...did some digging...www.toyodiy.com has all the part EPCs for every market!!!

They are the same for US and OZ spec RHD and LHD models!

yeah, i was VERY HAPPY to find the EPC. Called a friend at the toyota dealer here and they said "we can only get US parts here." Took my part numbers in... and low and behold they could order those parts....

Guess i should have posted that the toyodiy had the parts... i spend to much time reading and not enough time actually working...

Plus it supports frame numbers... so just punch it in and it will tell you the parts for that model.

They are the same. I ordered the master brake and clutch for my US Spec 1983 FJ40 and installed them on my 1984 Aussie Spec HJ47- sin problema, todo bien. You will be fine with them. !Via con Cruiser! !Viva la Mexico!
