any grievances on the revtek lift. i don't do much offroading, so wondered if this would be a decent lift for the money to be able to level my fj up and get some 285 bfg's on it

If you are using the stock rims, you don't need a lift to fit 285's.

my fj came with 16" rims. no problems with 285 bfg's?

If you are planning on 285/70/16's they will be a 32" tire. That is the stock size. A 285/70/17 is one inch taller - 33". Both will fit with no rubbage with the right rim.

Stock is with a 17 inch rim. The optional BFG came on a TRD 16 inch rim.
