reviving an old club idea

Way back when we had our meetings in Burnaby, we used to do inspections of club vehicles. By we I mean people in the club who had a clue at what they were looking at (not me!).
Perhaps we could have some kinda lottery where each meeting one vehicle could get a once over and all sorts of things that are wrong, potential problems etc, could be pointed out.
Now, we just need to find a meeting place that has a shop and knowledgeable people...........
















I should add, I'm not asking this for any free labour on my part, because that would involve fixing my junk up enough that I could actually drive a 'cruiser to a meeting




And it would be kinda fun, standing around pointing fingers and laughing

But trail repairs make much better stories then those done in the shop

Personally, I like the idea, drinking or not.

For those of us who are not mechanics it would provide a lot of useful information and perhaps a 'priority' of repair list.

Sound good, also it gives good insight to those that are not as mechanically experienced. In the long run one of us might notice something that an owner missed and it could save time, money and headaches later on.

yes I am going. I have to pick up Marcin and Ania at the airport on Friday and then I will either head out Friday evening/night or Saturday morning. After the 2 1/2 weeks I just had I need to hit the trails and forget about civilization. I still have not read the post as to where it is but I'll do that later.
