Fort Smith. And yes I know that summers can be pretty unbearable. The last two times I was in FS (December and April) the tornado sirens went off. So there's that as well.
Plan to spend quite a bit of time in the summers in the Pacific Northwest and winters in Mexico. Using FS as a home base. Have some good friends there.
