It's my understanding that the 2005-2007 Sequoias have larger lower balljoints than the 2001-2004 Sequoias.
Has anyone retrofitted the newer, larger lower balljoints onto the older Sequoias? I imagine this would help with the failures.
Also, I am curious if anyone has noticed any handling differences between the 2001-2004 Sequoias and the 2005-2007 Sequoias. I have only driven two Sequoias, one of each age bracket. My brief time in the earlier one seemed to indicate that it handled better. I did not like the handling on our 2007 Sequoia and assumed that all felt about the same way, but perhaps there's more to it than that.
Thank you!
Edit: It looks like it's 2001-2003 and 2004-2007. Part number left LBJ 43340-39595 shows that it's for 2004-2007.
Also, as for handling, is it possible that the 2005-2007 Sequoias went from RWD to AWD?
