At the Board of Directors meeting this past Tuesday I let them know that I'm going to step down from the Secretary position, effective 1 January. When I stepped down from the Pres position I agreed to stay on as Sec to help out until Jeff got the swing of things. If you were at the crawl, you know that Jeff has got things under control. :cool:

I will continue to do some of the forum stuff, if the '08 BOD asks. It's time for me to take a break. Being on the BOD is a lot of fun, but it's a good bit of work. I want to take a break before it quits being fun. I'm looking forward to just showing up to meetings and talking cruisers.

This will be an opportunity for someone else in the club to step up to leadership. PM or call me if you would like to help, or want to know more about what the secretary does. I can say this, I do a good bit of computer type stuff, so step up web-wheelers and web-wheeler-wanta-be's! Look for the BOD to do nominations and elections pretty soon to fill the position.

Don't expect to see less of me at club meetings, or events. I'll continue to participate in the club as much as I always have.

I am proud of being a part of starting this club. It has been a blast. Thanks for all the good times, and the ones to come. :beer:

Technically that is not true, I have used my work laptops so long that I no longer own a computer of my own. I better not quit my job or I'll have to quit being a web wheeler!

Nominating me?..... I was a born follower, I can't be a BOD.
