When I was 15 years old my uncle had an 80 series. It was always referred to as the "Land Bruiser". He was very theatrical in his description of where this vehicle could and would go. Although it was stock with highway radials, his stories always got my imagination going. He would talk about how we could winch up into trees or backwards off a cliff, we could drive it "almost" completely under water...to me, this was memorable in so many ways. When I turned 40 I finally had a place in life that allowed me to purchase my 1996 80 series. Moving forward 7 years I have done quite a few mods to it. But last year is where my build finally started to transition into me dream build...

Let's start with my most recent project. Wiring :bang:
Each year I have added more and more trinkets and upgrades. Wires have gotten out of hand to the point where I could not find anywhere else to stuff wires. Time to start over, rip it all out and do it the right way.

here I am about 80+ hours in to my rewiring project. Things are starting to come together in the rear quarter. Took my single ARB compressor which was mounted underneath and re-routing all the wiring and air hoses to the back quarter. upgrading to a dual ARB compressor. Wiring is very tedious and time consuming. I actually enjoy it, kind of like doing a puzzle...more rewarding though as I get to use and enjoy this rig when I finish.

Many more goodies to come in the following weeks...
