ahhh thanks jon. it seems different. Anyone thats into cruisers realizes this rig is different. they dont know what the deal with mine is...i know kilometers is not rare but for a full US vehicle (title says it is) to be in kilometer and be left hand drive.....

No lift. Stock suspension.

new springs and shock though right? if not that rig must not have driven much since it doesnt have any sag......or do you have add-a-leafs?

All of western Europe (minus Britian) plus Canada have LH drive and Kilo. gauges. The US is the exception, not the rule.
Velocity, if your 78-40 is truly a US vehicle, then a PO switched the gauges out.

The tires are 32X9.50 Super Swampers on the factory 5.5's. They look and feel awesome.

Which SS are they?
I can't find the 32x9.50s on interco's site or 4x4parts...
They look like the TSL Radial to me.

Thank you for the positive responses.

Velocity:

No new springs. No add a leaf. New shocks but that does not account for much. I think you are right that the vehicle was not driven much although...it was a plow truck. Just lucky I guess.

Brog:

The SS number is H38 (I think). Not a radial. If you go to interco's website, you can easily find them. They are flat out cool. The tread depth is unreal. I compared them to one of our tractor's tires and they are almost the same tread depth.

One thing though, they are a PITA to balance.

David:

Thanks for the comments. It is a bit different than the one you last saw. A lot of work but well worth it.

Chi:

The interior/complete underside is rhinolined in black. The tranny hump is covered top/underside as well for sound dampening. I am going to try to use the factory mats I have but think they are not going to work (at least the front) due to the different shape of the AL tranny replacement.

I have been in AL for the last week taking a break from life. Back to the 40 this week.
