My air mix servo motor is not working, so I have full hot air blowing through the vents which I am tired of.

Trying to remove it to replace the servo motor, but I’m fighting with the blind screw in the rear. I can feel it, but I can’t get a screwdriver to grab it because of the transmission tunnel. I’ve tried various extension lengths and a flex extension.

This is at the bottom left corner of the glovebox on a US-spec LHD model.

Anyone have a trick or remember how they accessed the screw if you have done this?

I appreciate any help.

if its the one over the transmission tunnel I cut that metal leg connected to it.

On reinstall I left that screw out and installed the other two and it works fine without issue

Note: I have 2001 LC.

Does anyone have a photo or a diagram of where the Air mix Servo is in the 100 Series? I have had a hard time finding anyone pointing at it in a US-spec'd LHD 100 series. I see you said bottom left of the glovebox, but I was hoping someone who has actually replaced it could point at it for me.
