My daughter has 03 LX470 and only one fob. I was wondering if I get a transponder from a different lx470 would I (or locksmith) be able to reprogram it to work in her car? I have master key/fob etc

Will any toyota transmitter work or do you need one specific to the year and model and if so how do you know which one to get?
I have an 04 Japanese market LC100 with the blade key and a two button transmitter. I see keys for sale that have codes like HYQ 1512V and HYQ 12BBT and I see posts about 4c and 4d transmitters but the only marking on my transmitter is 60110 06f25. Dealer quoted me ~$2-300 for a new key and Id obviously like to avoid that lol.
