Reproduction Brake Lines FJ45lpb

Any interest in reproduction brake lines?
I think I found a source that will exactly reproduce with stainless or oem like lines, new stainless 9mm fittings. Price is yet to be determined but I think in the neighborhood of $350-$400.

Would want to know which lines, fitting which years and top or side-loader m/c, company experience and reputation, etc.. Matching clutch line?

Funny, I just posted this question in my thread. www.classictube.com sells lines for the fj40 in OE Steel and SS. How many differences are there between the 40, 45 and 55's? My axles are from a 78' 55 while the frame etc is 66' 45lv.

They siad if I sent them my lines they would reproduce(same company). THey should then be able to reproduce for anybody. Have they given you a price yet?

Classic quoted me $180.00 and $225.00 for 75-79 FJ40. Steel and SS respectively. I asked if they would sell individual sections but have not heard back. SOR shows some of the sections being available. I think that bending my own may be pretty easy. I have the tools and have bent some larger lines with ease so the brake lines should be easier. I will be switching to all 10mm stuff.

repros would be nice, but you can also bend your own. Use a coat hanger as a guide for your bends and the correct flare tool.

Any one used any products from BreakQuip? There 3/13" tubing sounds great. I talked to one of the techs today and he said it was amazing stuff and very easy to bend and look nice.
