First off apologies, late night phone call from some friends, who just purchased some jeeps. I forgot to post before going to bed.
So went out the door this morning at 6am, nice and cool run up silverado canyon, to the top, and down to El Cariso. Since they were newbies, I had point out what their jeeps could do, so they tried to follow me over many obtacles and side trails. The 98 with coil springs handled it all but the 96 with the leaf springs, .... not so well... I checked the 96 tire pressure (48psi!!!!!!!) per tire.
Once i aired down for him,, he kidneys felt better and his performance improved.
I had never put some many sratches on my truck and I will be buffing them out for a while.
I took them on some side trails I had not been on in 15 years, and they were way over grown , most likely intentional to us from using them. Truck performed perfectly, and it was way hot....
Nothing like leading the way in the dustiest trails I have seen in a long time. I had my windows up , air on, and they choked on all the dirt from behind.
Just a good day to enjoy the views. This is worthless since I have no pics, but I thing you are all familiar with this route, espicially the OC folks.

Thanks for sharing, it is always fun to laugh at Jeep owners.
