what gas struts work when replacing the old chrome spring struts on the rear liftgate? what kind of brackets are you fabbing up for them?

I have some OEM ones from a top I am not using. if you want them let me know. I dont know if they still hold up the hatch or not. But I assume they do.

Spence, Go to Auto Zone, or anyone that carries "Steady lift" and order # D-072-607 struts. They bolt up easily, and work great, (Watch out the first time you open it , or you'll get it in the chin) The struts are for the hood on an Audi. HTH, Earl
