has anyone heard about replacing the bench with a buick lesabre bench. it comes with built in over thr shoulder belts. any other ideas?

I've been looking at vehicles in parking lots that have "integrated" seatbelts but not purchased one at a junkyard.. it's probable that one could incorporate the belt into the existing seat or recover another seat to look old school. or aftermarket seatbelts are available but getting them to the correct height is the issue.
This is one option I've been "reviewing" Retrofit Seat Belt Installation When Door Post Stops Below Side Window
I have done nothing with the idea yet as I'm not quite there yet..
WIth this aftermarket type I would imagine needing some sort of hoop type thing on the corner of the seat so you could still fold the seat forward.

I've also been trying to eyeball different convertibles but in this area that season has passed.

I also would like to know of a seat with integrated three point seat belts. Besides finding something that fits side to side you have to find something that fits front to back. The stock seat are pretty thin in the back and are almost straight up and down. Most seats you find are going to be thicker and angled more making you move the seat forward to fit. Losing leg room you can't afford to lose.

Keep us posted if these work for you.

Is this a newer, downsized LeSabre? I can't see seats from an older LeSabre fitting the cab of a 45.

Anyway, keep us posted. I don't know anyone with a 45 that doesn't complain about the seats occassionaly.
