These are the seats I found and a wiring…diagram/list thingy. The airbags will definitely get isolated and secured.
Yep, thst pic refreshed my memory. I guess it was 4 plugs.


These are the same module I used. Super cheap used. I just used female spade connectors to wire them up.

Yeah, it's a pretty slick way to do it, and I think it's definitely better than Toyota's HIGH or LOW choice on the factory heated seat option. I haven't found my notes, but I'm remembering crap as I talk about it... I did find this diagram that someone else made.

I basically followed it, but my '96 already had relay switched power for heated seats at two connectors under the console, so I just used that switched power for power to both pins 4 and 5 on the controller. It has plenty of capacity and is already protected by one of the stock fuses (don't remember which, but I accidentally proved that somewhere in the process). I don't know what year your rig is, but you might check and see if you have the connectors. Pretty sure all the later models had wiring for the option.
