A few months ago I swapped in a decent sr5 instrument cluster. But I've been struggling to make the frustrating electric sending unit work. I've spent time and money I'll never get back trying to make this thing work. So today I finally gave up and pulled the gauge out and ran a mechanical gauge, nothing fancy just regular autozone crap. It fit surprisingly well in the cluster, I just had to use a dremel to cut out a hole. The only fitment issue was that I had to use a tap and dye set to make the adapter fit in the engine block.
