Reno, NV Mechanic/Shop?

I am going to look at an 1994 FZJ80 in Reno next weekend and hoping there might be a good shop to do an inspection. Anyone have a recommendation?

Sounds like the truck has basically been a grocery getter most of its life and looks to be very clean, but I’d prefer to have it checked out by someone knowledgeable before I pull the trigger.

I’ve searched the forum and there are multiple threads about Reno, with no good leads. It looks like the last thread is from 2024, so I am hoping something has changed since then.

Even if it has been a grocery getter , it is 32 years old and will need all base line maintenance done at sometime in the near future. To pay someone to do all that maintenance would be very costly
