Yeah I know, some of you may think I'm nuts but humor me. ;) What is involved in removing the whole PTO set-up from a BJ74? The bumper extensions and the winch itself I can figure out but what about where the winch meets the transfer case? Looking at the EPC I see that there is a plate available that covers the hole in the transfer case left behind by the removal of the winch but is there anything else that I should be aware off? What about the shift link lever?

The shaft & associated brackets all unbolts pretty easy, as does the lever & linkage. You'll need to plate off the hole in the floor. If you're selling the whole setup to someone you may want to remove the PTO drive gear from the t-case also & replace it with a spacer.

Cheers
Clint
