Any tips for removing the sticky stuff thats left over from old door rubbers?
Looks like some kind of thin double sided tape - but its 32 years old and some of it has pieces of rubber still stuck to it.
Any easy way to remove this or do i have to keep scraping it all off with a scraper?

I would try solvent, pretty much anything marketed as an adhesive remover should work. If that doesn't do it then you're probably stuck scraping in down with a razor blade. A little heat would probably help soften the rubber and make it easier to scrape.
