A lot of you all may well be members of this forum or subsribe to the site but it is new to me so I thought that I'd post up some interesting and thoughtful tips that they published.

I subscribe to 4d action mag and love the print version, even better are the dvds of their tv show that they send along!
Their forums are a hoot and worth looking at just to see how another group plays in the dirt

expedtionportal.com/forum and Overland Journal are some other great resources

Then you have the classic book Vehicle Dependant Expedition Guide by Tom Sheppard which you could teach a semester long college course out of and I am pretty sure Chris Scott has a new overland book coming out

If you are going through the Americans then Don & Kim Greene did a killer book called Amercias Overland or something like that.

and if you just want something fun to read while you are learning also VW Vagabonds is a great book
