After reading thru the kaymar bumper thread and becoming very interested in one with the tire carrier, I wondered about the rear camera. Has anyone tried to relocate it to the rear spoiler?

Edit - My spelling is stinks. Title should be "Relocating Camera".

Having it that high wouldn't make much sense. I believe Slee relocated the camera to the center of the spare tire on the rear (this was for a 100 series, not a 200).

I would personally look to mounting it IN the rear bumper or somewhere else centered down low. I use it to see behind me, not so much what's directly behind my rear bumper. Seeing the bumper though in the camera's viewpoint is quite handy though.

In Slee's application, is the tire carrier a swing-away or hardmounted? Asking to find out how the wiring harness is run. I like the idea but think under the spoiler would be out of the way, although brake light glare could be a problem. Mounting it directly on the bumper may be hazzerdous to it's health.
