Picked up a couple of these 6 gal/20 Liter water jugs for a steal a little while back, but no one (not even the mfr) seems to make a spigot cap for them. ID of the spout is 42mm, anyone know of an off-brand that might work?

My google-fu is failing me on this search.

A picture or a link to the thing might help...

You might try a spout off another reliance product like the 5 gal blue ones that have a spout thats on reverse side of cap? I cant imagine them making a separate size spout for all their larger containers?

This is the can -

You would think, but the only spigot cap that Reliance makes is for a larger 2.8" cap.

Hell, they're only about $10. With enough Teflon tape anything will fit, right??

You could drill a 1/2" or 3/4" inch hole in the cap and install your own spigot.

It has the reversible spout, but I want the spigot. I think I paid $10 for both cans, no worry if I don't find anything.
