What is this relay for?
is simple relay, it is located behind the ashtray
on BJ42 24v ‘82

Assuming it’s the same/similar as on a 12V 1983 HJ47, I think that’s the bulb check relay. When the key is first put to run and all of your dash lights light up, that’s the relay responsible AFAIU.

I could be mistaken, though. The japan-parts site shows it as not applicable for a European-spec 1982 BJ42LV-KCJ.

looks like a turn signal to me and when I google relay 90987 02003 comes up as turn signal relay..
