Relay for life

Ok Gang just wanted to let you know me and John are involved in relay for life and wanted to know if you guys were up for the club to donate to the cause this is for the american cancer society and any individual donations would be appreciated as well you can also join our team for a 10 dollar donation. Also was wondering if any of you would be interested in bringing your rigs down for some show and tell and some pics as well and Keith this might be a good thing to add in your newspaper just a thought gang let me know what you think. All donations are a great help also our team name is Helmberi so you guys know if you want to join in and become part of our team.

Has your team run an announcement in the Lahontan Valley News? It's owned by the same company that owns my paper. I used to know the editor and the publisher there, but they both moved back to their home states in the past year. You might be able to garner some extra local support going through the LVN, that's if you haven't already.

When's your deadline for donations? Or I can get you at the May meeting.

Actually, no we have not ran an announcement in the LVN, due to financial restrictions, but I'm not sure who to talk to about these things. Dan and I both have materials available to track donations given to us personally and this information is put onto our team information page, not available to the public. anyway if you have further questions don't hesitate to ask

Hey John, the LVN probably has a community page, or section for community announcements. Those shouldn't cost anything. Or, get in touch with the paper and see if they'd be willing to do a feature story on the event itself, or what residents, such as you and Dan are doing to get more people involved in the event. Could be an opportunity to get your rigs posing in the paper. Just a thought. Worst the paper would say would be no, but I'm pretty sure they'd help you get something in.
