anyone know where to find recovery hooks that have wider spaced mounting holes? the ones i usually get from PA have the std 1.5" hole spacing...but after looking at the tie down hoops up front and the rear receiver hitch...it looks to be about a 2" center to center space.

i removed the rear hitch and will only use it when i tow. sticks out too far. the front factory tie down hoops dont look very heavy duty for recovery. barely there welds on a .5" bent rod doesnt strike me as a secure spot to hook up a strap to. i could use my arb points, but would rather have proper frame mounted points on all 4 corners....

thanks!

You might have some luck checking the hooks used on YJ's. They were a wider spacing than standard, not sure if 2" though.

Thats a damn good idea, as J*$p's are pulled out of things quite often using those points, they are probably the stoutest thing on the whole vehicle. :grinpimp:

And, you can probably get chrome ones!
